Millard Mitchell Scholarship

The AAMBC seeks to recognize student achievements by celebrating and awarding high school seniors who are dedicated to serving their school and their community. We have established the Millard Mitchell Scholarship as a way to support deserving graduating high school students who intend to further their education by attending a post-secondary school. The Millard Mitchell Scholarship is a one-time award presented to students who intend to further their education and who have been accepted by an accredited post-secondary institution. Millard Mitchell was a founder of the African American Museum of Bucks County who valued education and believed that students should be recognized based on talents, leadership, academic achievements and community service as well as but not necessarily need. The scholarship will be awarded in June, 2025 and will be applied to the students’ educational expenses for the 2025-2026 school year. Scholarship funds will be released directly to the college.
